The death toll from the January roundup in the Calico Mountain complex of northwestern Nevada is 112 wild horses, 35 aborted foals as of Mar 21/10 & rising. Plans are being made for the Twin Peaks roundup in California and Nevada's Virginia Range herd is now in grave danger of being rounded up. The Eagle HMA roundup in Ely, Nevada has only been delayed, not cancelled.

MISMANAGEMENT OF TAX DOLLARS JUST GETS WORSE. AND MORE

The BLM says it must raise user fees at Red Rock Canyon in Las Vegas to make ends meet, yet President Obama is now asking Congress for $75.7 million dollars in fiscal year 2011 primarily for more roundups and $43 million to buy one preserve likely in the East to warehouse some of the wild horses the BLM has condemned to captivity.
